So just a little update about me as I never usually talk about my life. My father has had cancer off and on since 2011 right after I got married. Last Thanksgiving, all the children - my two younger brothers, and my sister - were told we were having just a family get together with our group at the beach house. Well, that was they were dropping a bomb on us. After 5 years of struggling with chemotherapy, treatments, and medication, my father had decided that he was no longer going to try to fix his cancer anymore. He didn't want to be drugged up on the meds all of his Doctors were pushing on him for pain, rather to enjoy what life he has left

So we finally sold our old house after being out of there for a year! Since then, my art desktop and tablet had been in storage about that long. Someone asked me for a art gift for a friend for Christmas, and I very carefully got it out not knowing what to expect. The tablet works but somehow the pad got scratched by something bad. The pen's sensor works, but something on the inside of the tip is broken, so it can't draw anything...lol I've already taken screenshots of another tablet and sent 'hints' to my husband that if not a Christmas gift, Valentine's Day is just around the corner! lol I'm working on cleaning out my old Photobucket so I'

Look at how long it has been since I made a new journal lol Well, if you were wondering, yes, I did have my baby. We had some complications early on in the pregnancy and I got put on bed rest at 26 weeks until I had him! He came 5 weeks early anyway at 35 weeks, on April 12th, 12:14 pm, weighing in at 6 lbs. 8 oz., and 18 1/4 inches long. He had a condition called Hydronephrosis (fluid in the kidney), where his left kidney was kinked like a water hose, and he had to have surgery at 6 months old. We are looking pretty good as far as recovery goes now, but still have to make Dr. visits every few months to check him out. NOW we are getting ready
